What does GEO cost in Europe in 2026?

A basic Generative Engine Optimization plan from a European agency costs €450–900 a month in 2026. A mid plan with content and competitor tracking costs €1,250–2,500. A full programme with PR and off-site work costs €3,000–6,000, and enterprise work starts at €8,000. A one-off audit costs €490–1,500 for a small company and €2,000–5,000 for mid-market. These figures come from 30 published price lists collected in September 2026; the sources are at the end.

What is the price range for a monthly GEO plan?

The real European floor for a monthly GEO plan is about €450. Below €400 you are buying a freelancer's checklist, not an agency's work.

Four dials move the price between tiers: the number of prompts tracked, the number of AI engines covered, the amount of content produced each month, and whether off-site work such as directory, listicle and press placement is included. Off-site work appears only in the top tiers.

How much does a one-off GEO audit cost?

A standalone audit costs €490–1,500 from a small European provider and €2,000–5,000 from a mid-market agency. NeuRank in Germany charges €490 for a 48-hour audit; Discovered Labs in Ireland charges €4,370 for a diagnostic with a 90-day plan. Most providers credit the audit fee against the first month of a plan, which makes the audit the usual entry point.

DImato's own audit is €499: 40 prompts, five runs each on four engines, a score out of 100 and a ranked action list, credited to month one. It sits at the low end of the European range on purpose; the audit is where the relationship starts, not where the margin is.

What do content and tools cost on top?

    • Agency-written article or comparison page: €640–960 each. Freelance writers briefed by the agency: €300–500 a page.
    • AI visibility tracking tools that agencies resell: Otterly Lite $29, Rankscale Pro $99, LLM Pulse €99 white-label. Tool cost per client is therefore €10–60 a month, and it is usually inside the plan price.
    • Upper-end tools: Peec $95–495, Semrush AI Visibility $99 per domain, Ahrefs Brand Radar $199 plus $129. Profound and Conductor quote per enterprise.
    • Freelance floor: Fiverr audits at $20–100, Upwork specialists at $80–200 an hour.

    What contract terms are standard?

    • Three months minimum on basic plans; six months on higher tiers; 30-day contracts rarely show a result.
    • Discounts of 10–20% for six or twelve months paid in advance. Month-to-month is priced 10–20% higher.
    • Annual commitments cut churn by about 47% compared with month-to-month; twelve-month retention is 67% for setup-only work, 78% for retainers and 89% for a hybrid of both.
    • Guarantees such as "double citations in six months" appear only at the top tiers, at £5,000 a month and above.

How do European prices compare with the US?

European prices are 30–50% below US prices for the same scope. A US basic plan runs $2,000–3,000 a month at BrainZ Digital or First Page Sage, against €450–900 in Europe. Within Europe, Baltic providers enter at €790–900, German at €890, UK at £450, Irish and French mid-market at €1,500 and up.

How should a buyer compare two GEO offers?

    1. Count the prompts tracked and the engines covered. Five prompts on one engine and fifty on four are different products at the same price.
    2. Ask how visibility is reported. Pooled percentages from repeated runs are honest; a single rank is not, because the same prompt returns the same brand list under 1% of the time.
    3. Check what is done each month, in hours or pages, and who publishes.
    4. Ask which tools are inside the price. Hidden tool costs are a common reason engagements sour.
    5. Divide the monthly price by the hours promised. Under €40 an hour means something is automated or omitted; over €150 means you are paying for a brand.

DImato's plans, for comparison: Basic €690 for 10–15 hours a month, Advanced €1,990 for 30–45 hours, PRO from €4,900 for 80–120 hours plus PR at cost. See the plan table.
